We visited a cool place newar our house called Terrain at Styers. It wasvery festive.

It was my second Halloween this weekend. I know next year will be the best one, bc I will realize that I can get tons of candy just for dressing up. But this year, I never even made it out to trick or treat. I had a wicked ear infection and so I decided just to go to bed early instead. But check out how cute I was in my costume.

I really have been able to walk for months now, but the cold hard comfort of the floor kept me crawling. Alas, I am finding that it is much less work to just walk from point A to point B. Last night I took my walking skills to the park to watch my sister in our neighborhood Halloween parade. Here I am on our climber.
I was down and out with a wicked ear infection late last week, but I rallied just in time for my big party on Sunday. It was, I should say, an intimate affair.....evidently Im not the only one around here who has been a little under the weather. But that didnt make it any less exciting to have my first cupcake. I was really tickled to hear my family sing happy birthday and my sister was so cool to blow out my candle for me.

This is it. Its my birthday week! I cannot believe I have been here for a year already. I have so many milestones to celebrate: clapping, hugging, crawling, new teeth, sitting up, rolling over, first day of school, cruising, sleeping through the night, swinging at the park, my first haircut, going in the pool...what a year!
My mom discovered social media for babies! What a concept. It is called Kidmondo and it is all that this blog is and more. She can track my milestones, share photos, capture health information, track growth.....and then if she wants to output a bound book from all of that cool information, its a snap!. So bookmark my new page at kidmondo: http://indianahudson.kidmondo.com/ . Mommy will update it with much more cool stuff in the weeks to come. Meantime, I'm pretty excited about my birthday which is one week from today!!
I had such a great weekend....again! Two cool things I want to share - one, I LOVE being in the pool...and the bathtub, ...and I anticipate loving the ocean as well. And two - I'm working pretty hard to get the hang of feeding myself with the giant bottle my mom loves giving me. See me here at Rubys in a big boy high chair.
I missed my daddy quite a bit this weekend but he was getting some much needed boy time (and family time) in Indiana. It was race weekend! Back on the homefront I logged some great snuggle hours with mommy in between pool parties, the HAC, walks in the sunshine and swinging on baby swings in the park. What a great way to kick off the summer.
In other news, I grew another tooth...that makes two. I am now "cruising" as they say, I tried some new foods this weekend including chicken and rice baby food and blackberry yogurt. I still prefer formula tho. And I make a schrunched up nose face almost as much as I smile.
Indiana Jones comes out on Thursday and if I could watch it I would!! But I think my parents will pry go see the movie and then come home and tell me all about it.
Even tho you cant believe how cute and happy I look in this picture, I was so freakin miserable all weekend. Actually it all started last Wednesday...I came down with a fever and just wasnt myself. I proceeded to wake every half hour on Wednesday night just to see if my mom could handle it. I hear she used to party in da clubs so I figured she'd be up for a little all nighter with her favorite little man. Well she was none too happy on Thursday and I proceeded to get hotter....guess I should have clocked some zzzs to make my little body better. Anyway, things were looking up a little over the weekend, but I am just ready to go once the clock says 4am.
Anyway, I am thinking moms needs a break so I might give her a few extra hours sleep this week....sleep in till like 520 or something like that.
I had another fun filled weekend, only this time it was also filled with family. Everyone came to see me for my big event, a Christening. My friends baby Hayden and baby Sophie also shared the event with me. I saw my cousins and grandparents and even my great grandma Norma flew in for the occasion. It was awesome and I was a really good boy.
